For verification purposes, we require the full name (first and last), valid contact email address, and valid contact phone number of those who are to be allowed access to billing and/or technical information. This information is kept on file until the original hosting client removes them. There are NO exceptions, the security for our clients and Bummer Hosting Solutions is paramount.
Both the tech support and billing departments are separate departments, thus access has to each has to be granted, by submitting a tech support ticket for each department. Access can not be granted for one department and have it automatically apply to the other department. Data BackupsBummer Hosting Solutions is not responsible for lost data and/or content on our servers. Ultimately, Bummer Hosting Solutions clients are responsible for maintain accurate and current backups of their data and content which resides on our servers.

Bummer Hosting Solutions has spent a lot of money on software development costs, software setup, and initial software configuration.
Free Open Source Software - Bummer Hosting Solutions will install some open source software for no charge such as WordPress, osCommerce, phpBB, and selected other open source software at no charge. We will also help you configure the software so that it is in "working order" after installation. All software configurations as far as function, design, and other webmaster duties are to be performed by the domain owner or their webmasters. This includes software updates, future configurations, and/or web design. If the client wishes for Bummer Hosting Solutions to perform any webmaster duties, the charge is $45 (U.S.) per 30 minutes of support.
Free Web Site Builder For Bummer Hosting Solutions ClientsUpon request, Bummer Hosting Solutions will set up our Web Site Builder for no charge. The Web Site Builder is a powerful web based program for the creation and design of mainstream web sites. Our Web Site Builder is for clients who have limited knowledge of HTML or do not know how to use web design software.
Please note, the Web Site Builder is not supported by Bummer Hosting Solutions. We do not offer free support for the Web Site Builder. It is the client's responsibility to learn how to use the Web Site Builder for the creation and design of their web site(s). Domain Name RegistrationDomain names registered through our services will be subject to a $16.95 per year domain registration fee. Should you decide to cancel your account within the initial 30 day period, you will receive a full refund on the hosting fees, minus the setup fees. The domain name registration fees can not be canceled. However arrangements can be made to transfer the domain name to your new provider, providing we have been reimbursed $16.95 for the domain name registration fees.
We will register domain names for you at no charge provided your domains are hosted on our servers for at least a year. Should you decide to cancel your web hosting within a year, we can make arrangements to transfer the domain to your new provider after the following conditions have been met:
If no monies are owed to Bummer Hosting Solutions, we will set the DNS on your domains for your new web hosting provider during the 3 month wait period. After 3 months have passed, Bummer Hosting Solutions will gladly transfer the domains to your new provider. Domain name registration service fees are non-refundable.
In the event that a domain expires, under the registration of Bummer Hosting Solutions, we may hold the expired domain for up to 15 days as a courtesy and not as an obligation (contractual or otherwise). After 15 days of the domain expiration, the domain will fall into Redemption.
During the Redemption period the domain will be inaccessible and unable to be registered elsewhere. In order to bring a domain out of Redemption, the Subscriber must pay a Redemption fee, as well as a renewal fee for the current year. Redemption fees range from $100.00 to $5000.00. The bottom line, never let your domain expire.
Minimal Hosting Service TermsBummer Hosting Solutions requires any client to pay for a minimum of 3 months for any hosting services they sign up for. This applies to all clients even if they sign up for our services and never use them or plan on using them just one time. Should a new client cancel before 3 months have expired, they will be billed for the remainder of the 3 month time period that is left. There are NO exceptions.
Server abuseAny attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, a computer or a customer of Bummer Hosting Solutions is strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized use of other people's accounts, servers or computersBummer Hosting Solutions will strongly react to any use or attempted use of an Internet account, server or computer without the owner's authorization. Such attempts include "internet scamming" (tricking other people into releasing their passwords), password robbery, security hole scanning etc.
Any unauthorized use of accounts or computers by a Bummer Hosting Solutions customer, whether or not the attacked account or computer belongs to Bummer Hosting Solutions, will result in action against the attacker. Possible actions include warnings, account suspension or cancellation and civil or criminal legal action, depending on the seriousness of the attack.
Hate Material, and Racial Material Are Not AllowedAny type of hate materials, racial materials, or unlawful practices are not allowed on Bummer Servers.

BUMMER HOSTING SOLUTIONS HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR SPAM IN ANY FORM.
E-mail is a person-to-person medium, not a broadcast medium. The sending of email is not the same as broadcasting or newsletters. The only exception is the sending of an occasional business update to existing clients who have the ability of opting out. The sending of commercial advertisements to existing clients is considered spam and can result in account suspension or cancellation, without refund.
Sending a message is by itself can be considered spamming unless the individuals have specifically requested information on a specific topic.
All email terms agreed to above must be adhered to by all Bummer Hosting Solutions clients - there are NO exceptions. Should any domain or IP address used or owned by Bummer Hosting Solutions be placed on a spam database or spam list, the offending client will bear full financial responsibility for correcting any spam issues or problems if the terms above have not been adhered to.This includes any costs incurred by Bummer Hosting Solutions including research fees, attorney fees, and any other fee which may be encountered.
Payment PoliciesAll accounts are set up on a pre-pay basis. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card upon registering for the Services, you thereby authorize Bummer Hosting Solutions to charge your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account to pay for any charges that may apply to your account. You must notify Bummer Hosting Solutions of any changes to your credit card account (including, without limitation, applicable account number or cancellation or expiration of the account), your billing address, or any information that may prohibit Bummer from charging your credit card or PayPal account. Bummer Hosting Solutions may also send periodic invoices to you for any applicable supplemental charges associated with your use of services. In addition, your failure to fully pay Bummer Hosting Solutions for services rendered will be deemed a material breach of this agreement, justifying Bummer Hosting Solution's suspension of services and/or termination of this agreement. Unless other terms have been agreed upon, any account not brought current within a week (7 days) of e-mail notice or exceeding this time frame in any way is subject to suspension, late fees and/or reactivation fees. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer notifies Bummer Hosting Solutions in on-line writing for a request for termination of services. All payments are in U.S. currency. Payments can be made via cash, check, credit card, PayPal, and checks. All returned checks are subject to a $50.00 fee plus additional bank fees incurred by Bummer Hosting Solutions
CancellationBummer Hosting Solutions reserves the right to cancel service at any time due to policy violations. If Bummer Hosting Solutions institutes it's right of cancellation, no pro-rated fees will be refunded or credited as policies have been violated. Each customer is expected to use his/her account for the purpose of maintaining proper legitimate hosting services, with responsibility and respect toward other Internet users. Common sense is the best guide as to what is right and wrong, and it's the same guide we use when analyzing an event of bad behavior. Bummer Hosting Solutions has the right to deny business to a customer attempting to re-open an account after the user's account has been previously canceled due to a policy violation, constantly creating problems on a server, and/or constantly having billing problems (credit card denied way too often, checks bouncing, etc).
If Bummer Hosting Solutions reserves the right to no longer provide a customer with hosting service due to policies which results in extra costs, the extra costs will be billed to the customer (i.e. transfer, space, server destruction, server damage, devastating behavior, hacking, etc).
All web hosting services require a 30 day notice when being canceled. Customers can cancel services any time by logging in to their billing admin at https://www.bummerhosting.com/billing-support-login.php and submitting a ticket for the service(s) to be canceled. A confirmation of any service cancellation is sent via the email address we have on file to the customer within one business day. Please configure all email spam filters for bummer-inc.com and bummerhosting.com. If an email confirmation is not received within one business day, we can be contacted by phone toll free at (888) 492-1212. The customer MUST be specific as to which service(s) and/or domain(s) are being canceled.
Chargeback and Dispute PolicyBummer Hosting Solutions does not allow chargebacks to occur to its merchant accounts and contracts with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal services. It is not recommended to initiate a chargeback hence customer agreed to Terms and Conditions as outlined in this document. Bummer Hosting Solutions will use this document and customer's agreement at the time of order to wholeheartedly fight a chargeback and/or dispute. If customer supplied a valid reason for refund, Bummer Hosting Solutions will gladly apply a refund ONLY if requirements as specified above are met. Any dispute/chargeback attempts will immediately result in suspension of hosting account and other charges applied to the customer credit card under the same order/authorization number. Bummer Hosting Solutions reserves the right to re-charge a customer's credit card anytime in event of a dispute and/or chargeback process.
Lawful PurposeBummer Hosting Solutions reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Customers may only use Bummer Hosting Solution's servers and services for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening and material protected by trade secrets. The designation of any materials as such described above is left entirely to the discretion of Bummer Hosting Solutions management.
IndemnificationCustomer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Bummer Hosting Solutions harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Bummer Hosting Solutions, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Bummer Hosting Solutions against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Bummer Hosting Solution's servers and services; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from Bummer Hosting Solution's server.
You Are Placed On Our Mailing ListCustomer agrees that after signing up for a web hosting service that, Bummer Hosting Solutions will place them on our mailing list. Our mass mailing list is ONLY for occasionally informing our clients about future holiday office hours, server updates, network updates, and anything about hosting service offered which may affect them.
Bummer Hosting Solutions does NOT spam, sell, lend, or trade your email with any other party.
Should you wish to be removed from our mailing list, you can do so by visiting your secure billing/tech support login at https://www.bummerhosting.com/billing-support-login.php and entering the email you signed up with in our newsletter box. Select the delete option and then click submit. Your email address will then be removed. You can also remove your email from our mailing list by clicking on the link at the bottom of any mass email we send out.
